In reply to Kristen. Oh I think I just did mine wrong. I dumped the peaches then put the dry cake mix on top and then poured the butter on top. Guess I will find out .

I would like to make this dump cake !
Is it just the dry cake mix straight out the box you dump onto the fruit and then pour the butter over.
As simple as that !
Doh or am I missing summit out

I made this for my kids and now they make it for their kids. I use sliced peaches with a little of the juice. I also add a can of crushed pineapple. In addition to the butter on top of the cake mix, I sprinkle cinnamon or apple pie seasoning on top.
WE love to eat it right out of the oven with a spoonful of cool-whip on top.
WE have made this with other fruits too, but the peach – pineapple mix is our favorite.
