My dad grew up on a dairy farm (not in the midwest, sorry – in fact not in the US)! Visiting my grandma on the farm was basically the best part of my life, and the milk there – SO good!

So true, by buying things from supermarkets its easy to get disconnected from where the food actually comes from! I think it’s important to know a bit about the provenance of foods, even yoghurt and milk, as well as how the animals are treated.
