Kristen, I know just what you mean! Our family road trip to Maine is coming up and all I can think about is sitting on a tropical island somewhere with a cheap paperback and a cold cocktail.Oh well, lobsters and sandy minivans are good too.

Have a great trip! The kids can ‘collect’ the license plates of different states and you can try as many different ‘adult beverages’ as possible. Just do it once you have finished driving for the day. In between a mantra of ‘adult beverage soon, adult beverage soon’ should make the noise from the back seat, ‘are we there yet’ and so one more bearable.
