We all love the “Thanksgiving Sandwich” so much that we actually cook an extra turkey just to make sure everyone has plenty for sandwiches! You need to include some cranberry sauce too though! 😉 I have actually come across the Thanksgiving Sandwich on a menu or two over the years when dining out. We used to always have turkey on Thanksgiving and then a turkey and a ham or lamb on Christmas, but now I usually make a beef dish, so I only get those magical sandwiches in November. Love it!! I think the first time I ever heard of it was on an episode of Friends. Someone stole the Thanksgiving sandwich Monica made for Ross out of the refrigerator at work and he was on a rampage over it lol.
