I never liked rice pudding ……. until I tasted Mrs. Bailey’s.

Heaven!

I bragged and bragged about it, finally my Mama phoned Mrs. Bailey (long distance) and asked for the recipe.

It was Swanson’s. It was made in large tins for restaurants. She was able to get it because she worked for Campbell’s Soup.

What a let down! But it was still Heaven!

My mom would peel and slice potatoes and fry them up, salt them, and drain them on brown paper grocery bags. Those were the best things!! I could never wait for them to cool off before I was eating them! I’d love to have some of those now.
