I’ve been meaning to sit down and write this happiness report out for a few weeks now. It’s a good one 🙂 I’ll start out by saying it includes meeting and touching Adam Levine, being in a Jimmy Kimmel selfie, hugging and chatting with Scott Foley and Josh Malina and more! I’m calling it the Happiness Report – Celebrity Edition! (This is the longest post, ever…but I’m writing it all out for posterity so that when I’m old and gray I can remember this great three days!)

The Happiness Report #23

Would you like to know what doesn’t make me happy? The fact that I haven’t shared a Happiness Report since March. That’s ridiculous. What else is ridiculous is the fact that I have let the things that I love most about blogging… Happiness Reports, Project 365, Connect Through Reading Posts, etc. slide while I focused on things that I like but don’t love. What the heck is wrong with me that all the great things get pushed to the bottom of my to do list while other, less meaningful things take over? Ugh!

Anyway, this isn’t an unhappiness report… it’s a happiness report. So without further ado. here are a few awesome things making me happy lately!…

The Happiness Report #22

Do you see that picture right up there? The one with the bright, shining sun and palm trees? The kids and I are leaving on our annual 16 hour road trip to find the sun… down near South Padre Texas, where my parents live! I am so excited to leave the chill behind and head towards the warmth! The thought of warm weather in my near future is obviously making me smile. I thought it would be a great time to share what else is making me happy these days!

Happiness Report #19 – Happiness Hodgepodge

Happy November! I feel like I say this with each passing month, but November already? Really? Raise your hand if you think that seems impossible!

My heart has been heavy this week as I think of you all on the East Coast who have gone through so much. The pictures, stories, accounts… they all seem so surreal observing from Kansas. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Everything else seems kind of irrelevant, but I always think there is time to focus on what’s making us happy, so I decided to share a Happiness Report. Also, as the month of being intently thankful is upon us, seems like a good time, don’t you think?…
