I had my first taste of Fireball whiskey a couple of years ago. No, I wasn’t at some crazy college party or throwing it down with a group of young party people. I was getting ready for an adult league tennis match of all things! One of my teammates offered everyone on our team a shot of fireball to take the nerves off before our match. And it worked.

I can’t claim that Fireball improved my tennis game, but I will say I won the match AND haven’t missed a pre-match Fireball shot since!…

Hey Boys Club! I’m really honored to be allowed into the club today to share a favorite cocktail of mine. As a mom of three girls and one boy, I often get shooed out of my sons room with a quick point to his “no girls allowed” sign on his door. Summer is the time for outdoor entertaining! A little shopping trip at Tuesday Morning ensured I was stocked up with all the summer essentials!

I don’t know about where you are, but it’s been down right chilly in Kansas! Not the kind of weather we’d expect for the first part of summer break.

That’s not stopping me from enjoying summer cocktails out on the deck though! We may have to bundle up and have the fire pit roaring, but I’m not going to let a little crummy weather steal a second of my summer. …

And now that song is going to be stuck in your head all the live long day. Again, I’m sorry. Actually not really, because doesn’t that song make you happy? It makes me feel like I’m back on the Regal Princess Cruise where I enjoyed fun, sun and plenty of frozen Piña Coladas.
