My photos are a mess too and I’m afraid of how long it will take to reorganize years of photos. I just started using LR not too long ago so I can’t wait to follow along! 🙂

I have the same fear. Years & years of photos that haven’t been organize is a lot of work! to look for a specific picture on my hard drive is close to impossible! & lets not even begin to talk about duplicates! Thank you for your 6 principles!

I feel you…I have over 70k photos and they are all on different externals. Some are duplicates, some are new, some are old. I need to tackle this beast head on. Good for you for taking the time to do this and for sharing your experience!! xxx

Mine are out of control too. I move them from one folder to another, all photos have same names and I’ve probably lost a ton of photos so far thanks to that. The keywording sounds promising, I know I never do that.Thanks in advance, I’m sure this will be super useful.
