One, Meredith’s last name of course, and 2, it is the name of the greatest medical handbook~~updated every year I believe. So if they WERE to kill Meredith, I suppose they could claim the show was named for the BOOK and not the woman:) Glad to see they kept her around though:)

When I watched that episode of Grey’s Anatomy, all I had to say was, "If that little girl with the braids ends up being imaginary, like an angel or something, I’m never watching this show again." And I mean it! I am just THAT ruthless with my viewing.

Of course, it was only the second time I’ve watched that show, so it isn’t much of a threat yet.
