Then you need to know about buying audiobooks and print books while supporting your local community through <a href="http://libro.fm/redeem/dineanddish" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Libro.fm</a>.</em></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-21648" src="https://www.dineanddish.net/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Jan-29-Mercy-House-LibroFM.jpg" alt="iPhone screen with Mercy House Audiobook on it, a stack of books and a green leaf plant" width="581" height="903" data-pin-description="Mercy House is a controversial book that was such a great listen. There were times I was so uncomfortable listening that I had to pause and give my brain some space. You know that's a good book and a great narrator when you feel so engrained in what's happening you have to step away. Thanks to Libro.fm this listening experience was a great one." data-pin-title="Mercy House Audiobook on Libro.fm" srcset="https://www.dineanddish.net/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Jan-29-Mercy-House-LibroFM.jpg 581w, https://www.dineanddish.net/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Jan-29-Mercy-House-LibroFM-257x400.jpg 257w, https://www.dineanddish.net/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Jan-29-Mercy-House-LibroFM-579x900.jpg 579w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 581px) 100vw, 581px" /></p>
<p>I get asked all the time about how I am able to <a href="https://www.dineanddish.net/top-ten-books-read-2019/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">read so many books</a>. Usually, my first answer is I don&#8217;t watch TV. I couldn&#8217;t tell you the last Netflix show I binge-watched or even the last show I watched on TV. Books are my TV.&nbsp;</p>
<p>My second answer is, I usually have three different books going on at the same time. I always have a physical book I&#8217;m reading, either one I own or from the library. In addition, I take my e-reader with me everywhere. That way I have a book to read when I&#8217;m waiting for appointments or I am in line somewhere. Finally, I listen to a lot of audiobooks. I would say about 50% of the books I &#8220;read&#8221; are in audiobook format. I listen when I&#8217;m getting ready in the morning, anytime I&#8217;m in the car alone and when I&#8217;m doing things like cooking dinner or cleaning the house. &#8230;</p>
