Shortcut Avocado Ice Cream with Chocolate Chips

Sweet, creamy and decadent, this avocado ice cream will be a hit!

  • 3 Ripe California Avocados mashed, peeled and seed removed
  • 1 48 oz carton high quality vanilla bean ice cream
  • 14 ounces high quality chocolate chopped


  1. In the bowl of your stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, add the ice cream.
  2. Spoon in the mashed avocado and mix on low speed for 5 minutes, or until fully incorporated.
  3. Remove the bowl from the mixer and fold in the chocolate chunks.
  4. Cover and place in the freezer for 30 minutes, until firm.
  5. If desired, serve in remaining avocado shells and garnish with shaved chocolate.
