A simple Girl Scout Cookie Fudge recipe. This is the perfect way to use up all those boxes of extra Girl Scout Cookies!

This fudge recipe blog post is for all the moms across the country who have drawers, cabinets and freezers full of Girl Scout Cookies. Yes, you love Girl Scout Cookies, but that isn’t why you have a zillion and one boxes of them filling up your house. It is possibly because you received reminder email after reminder email from your cookie leader that the sale date is coming to a close. When the final email comes through, you look lovingly at your little girl scout and realize that you failed to have her rock her cookie sale skills to anyone. Not even grandma and grandpa. Therefore, so she can still get the beloved “Cookie Patch”, you buy all the required boxes of cookies… all for her happy heart and a $2 patch.

With four kids, I’ve discovered a lot of the little details of life are falling through the cracks. Things like cookie sales, canned good collections and spelling bee studying aren’t getting done. I can’t keep up!

I finally get the love people have for Biscotti. I honestly didn’t understand it before. Why was there such adoration for a crunchy type treat that seemed to be having an identity crisis? Is it a cookie or is it a biscuit? Besides that, all the Biscotti I had in the past seemed dry and way too crunchy for my taste….

The Best Brownie Recipe & Using the Frigidaire Symmetry Oven Convection Feature

I will admit, I am a bit of a brownie snob. I like milk chocolatey brownies with no add-ins. I don’t want nuts, chocolate chips or candy messing up my brownies. Plain and simple is the best.

My brownies must be soft and chewy and have that perfect, soft, top crust. I like gooey, but not so gooey I have smeared chocolate all over my hands and face when I’m done….

Frigidaire Test Drive Mom – Symmetry Double Ovens

We welcomed a beautiful new appliance into our home today. Say hello to “Fran”, our new Frigidaire Gallery 30″ Freestanding Electric Double Oven Range. (I named her Fran… it fits, don’t you think?)

I got an email a while back notifying me that the folks at Frigidaire wanted me to be one of the lucky bloggers to test drive their new double oven. I have wanted / needed a double oven for so long and am thrilled to have one as gorgeous as this in my house now. Holiday bread, cookie and turkey baking will be such a breeze this year!
