Menu Plan Monday

  • Facebook
  • Twitter

My husband is out of town all week this week on business. While he is enjoying all the fine dining New York establishments on his company’s dime, the kids and I are going to be attempting to have somewhat decent meals at home. My instinct is just to feed them cereal every night, but I guess that wouldn’t be very appropriate, now would it? Instead, I’ve planned meals that they like…mostly centered around pasta!

Join Menu Planning Monday. More information can be found at I’m an Organizing Junkie!

I always admire those of you who make a weekly OR monthly menu. I feel awesome when I can crank out a weekly menu then I’m spent for the rest of the month. LOL

Dang, I’m having trouble with your links and I really want to know what Bierocks are. My computer is acting weird today! Must be the full moon.

I admire you for planning ahead. I tried but then food would go bad before I could cook it. Today I was out and said, “I feel like spaghetti” and went from there.

I’m all about planning the week’s menu ahead of time. The goal of course is to make just that one trip to the grocery store, but it never seems to work out for me. I’m always stopping on the way home from work to pick something up because I felt inspired to do something different with the side dish, etc. I will definitely check out the Menu Planning Monday! Thanks for sharing.

Great looking menu here, Kristen. Can I come over on Saturday? 😉

If you get tired of the same old, same old while hubby is out of town, you & the kids are always welcome over here for dinner.

You’re a much better mom than I… I say let them eat cereal and call it good!

Those Bierocks are on the agenda just as soon as I lay my hands on some cabbage…

It looks like you and the kids will have a delicious meal. Last time my husband traveled to Asia on business, he called me daily asking what I was making for dinner. I thought it was sweet especially with all the exotic food he was able to try while traveling.
