Pledge to Love Your Kitchen Contest

  • Facebook
  • Twitter

This giveaway is now closed. The winner of the Pledge prize pack is Pam Kennedy!

See the Le Creuset pot above? That pot has been in my life for just a couple of weeks now, but it has simply inspired me in ways I wouldn’t believe. I mean, I’ve had stock pots before and we own a nice set of pans but there is something about this beautiful Le Creuset dutch oven that inspires me to cook. It has brought around other types of inspiration as well… because our new pot kind of overpowers our stove, it has sent my husband and I into dreams of what the perfect kitchen would look like for us. Someday…someday. And I can’t wait until that beautiful cherry red Le Creuset dutch oven has its own spacious area on our dream stove.

In the meantime, did you know that Pledge – the cleaner that I had always assumed was only for dusting furniture – is giving one lucky person the chance to win $15,000 in kitchen improvements? You may be thinking…”Pledge? Kitchen Improvements? What? That doesn’t even go together.” That, my friend, is where you are mistaken. Pledge can be used on more than just wood surfaces for dusting. I took a spin with my yellow can of Pledge in the kitchen today and discovered it did a fantastic job on my cooktop, stainless steal and granite! I love it when I find out that a cleaner has multiple uses, don’t you?

I’m going to head over to the Mom it Forward blog to learn all about how to win that $15,000 kitchen improvement contest and see if I can win so my Le Creuset can get a new stovetop home. If you feel like trying to make your dream of a new kitchen a reality, I’d encourage you to go to the Mom it Forward blog and read how simple it is to enter!

Pledge is giving Dine & Dish readers a little love as well. They are providing a Pledge gift basket (ARV $40) to one reader. I know, I know…. this isn’t a housekeeping blog, but now that I know pledge can be used as a multi-purpose cleaner in the kitchen, I think you deserve to test it out as well! To enter, simply leave a comment on this blog post letting me know what improvements you would make to your kitchen with $15,000. For an extra entry, tweet the following: “Enter the “Pledge To Love Your Kitchen” Contest for a chance to win a $15,000 kitchen upgrade. Visit http://bit.ly/bMhDSU #pledgecontest” Once you’ve tweeted, come back to this post and leave a second comment letting me know so I can count both entries. All entries must be received by midnight CST on Tuesday, November 23. Random.org will then be used to chose the winner!

I love Pledge and always have and I love it even more now that I know I can use it everywhere! I did receive compensation to get the word out about the contest, but the opinions expressed in this post are my own.

Well since we are spending Thanksgiving laying new flooring for my kitchen, I would need new counter tops to match my new flooring and possibly a new dishwasher mine is getting pretty old.

Oh goodness…what improvements, well first and foremost a nice stove. Would love a gas stove. And a nice big sink…and new dishwasher. And granite countertops…maybe some new knives too? Did I cover everything? 🙂

    Thanks for hosting the giveaway!

My kitchen needs HELP! In particularly, a new floor, cupboards on one wall, new countertops installed (I already have them), and a microwave/exhaust fan above my stove. Hooray for Pledge and good luck to everyone!

Never thought about using pledge on stainless steel. I have a ton of it in my new kitchen, so I’ll have to try it out.

I just posted on cleaning granite countertops a couple of days ago — based on my granite fabricator’s advice. (I’d just pull the post into ComLuv — if it would start working for me again! Ack!) My biggest concern about using Pledge (or other such cleaner) on the countertops is that I’m not sure I’d want to EAT Pledge. And if it gets on the food…

What wouldn’t I do with $15K for a kitchen remodel. I think I’d head on over to IKEA and get new cabinets, and a new floor. Think I could convince my landlord to go along with it?

PS – I tweeted from both my personal and my biz accounts.

I can’t make over my kitchen, since I live in an apartment and my kitchen is not my own. I wonder if I could give the prize to my mother-in-law, whose microwave is basically for storage now, and her stove only works at certain times of the year (for instance, it likes to crap out in the middle of cooking big holiday meals), and her countertops are starting to peel. I think her dishwasher is losing its will to live as well. I’m going to check now, and if prizes are transferable, I’ll enter – otherwise, maybe I’ll suggest that she enter!

Oh! My husband & I already have our dream kitchen… In our minds! We’ve stood in our current kitchen and talked about new counters, new cabinets, new layout, everything! I’ll definitely have to check out that makeover giveaway! Thanks!

And for the pledge – it’s safe to use on your stainless steel appliances and cooktops?! Wow! Who knew!? I’m gonna have to check that out as well! 🙂

I’d love new stone countertops with a little breakfast bar… with some multi-colored pendant lights hanging overhead. And I know what you mean about that LeCreuset dutch oven.

With a $15,000 kitchen makeover- I would improve ALL my cabinets to be pull outs & then I would get a MUCH Bigger & nicer Refrigerator. Then, I would get a “Double Stove” and would love a new countertop-especially since there has been a big crack/scratch in the countertop since we built the house (that they would never fix). I would LOVE a Walk-in Pantry- but not sure that would even be possible with our house set up! I would also like a new and nicer faucet for my kitchen sink! Okay- that’s about it!

I truly believe they inject something into those little dutch oven, so that when it cooks you are inhaling new kitchen aphrodisiac. Must be something in the air right 🙂 Thank for the tip heading on over now.

I would get a dishwasher. Currently I don’t have one and the only place to put one involves closing off a door to the backyard. We have the plans to open a door up elsewhere but $15000 would make it happen a lot faster.

Boy would that be nice!! My kitchen really needs it! I need new counter tops, new built in oven (Mine doesn’t work and in fact is missing from the wall!) I’ve filled the hole with a microwave & small convection oven, New cabinets, (mine are worn down to nothing.) and a new floor to go with the new kitchen!
